Episode 12 (312) – The Debarted

On the anniversary of Bart Bass’ death, Chuck begins to see his father, reminding him of the way Bart used to think of Chuck as soft. Chuck, intimidated by this pushes Blair away from him. Serena finds out that Tripp and Maureen set up a plan for Serena to be his secret mistress, however Serena get angry and asks Tripp to take her back to the city. On the way they get into a car accident, resulting in Serena being hurt and Tripp leaves. He then shows up at the hospital to see Serena, but is attacked by Nate, and leaves with Maureen. Everyone comes to visit Serena, including Chuck, who remembers his father’s death and breaks down, only to be consoled by Blair. At the end we see Chuck at the cemetery to put flowers on Bart’s grave, and encounters a mysterious woman laying the same flowers on the grave, and Chuck discovers that was his mother, after she leaves.

Title comes from the 2006 movie The Departed.
